The search will check the entire database for all words or phrases submitted.
To search for an exact phrase, put the phrase inside quotes. For example, "cancer center"
To exclude a word from a search, put - in front of a word you want to leave out. For example, jaguar speed -car
You can narrow your search by using search tags. A tag will limit the search of your keyword to a specific area of the database. For example, LOC:Vermont will only search for "Vermont" in the fields pertaining to location. (Make sure there is no space between the search tag and the associated word.)
If you wish to search for a phrase when using a search tag, be sure to quote the phrase and the tag together. For example, "SRV:Real-time qPCR"
