The Physiology Core Laboratory at the GCRC offers an extensive array of services with emphasis on the measurement of body composition, bone mineral density, energy expenditure, exercise capacity, muscle strength testing, pulmonary function, functional capacity, and anthropometrics. A physiologist is available to discuss the detailed procedures involved in measures you may be considering for inclusion in your protocol and to assist with testing. Moderate to high risk patients/subjects undergo exercise testing under the supervision of a cardiologist at our GCRC satellite facility within the Cardiology Outpatient Facility at 62 Tilley Drive, So.
